Terms of Service

1. Parties and Scope

These Terms form a legally binding contract between you (the “Customer”) and International Driving Permit Agency (IDPA), operated by mother company International Automobile Agency (https://e-iaa.com/), operating internationaldrivingpermitagency.com. These Terms apply to individual retail customers. B2B and travel-agency engagements are governed by separately negotiated written agreements.

2. Acceptance Mechanism

You accept these Terms by checking the acceptance box at checkout (“clickwrap”). Your selection constitutes a legally effective electronic signature under the US ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). The contract is concluded when we display the order-confirmation page and email you an order confirmation.

3. Pre-Checkout Acknowledgement

At checkout, you must check the following combined acknowledgement before completing your order:

4. Product Description and Eligibility

• Product: The IDPA is a certified translation of your valid domestic driver’s license, available as Digital Only (PDF) or Print + Digital (PDF + printed translation booklet/ID card), in supported languages for vehicle classes matching your domestic license.
• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid (non-expired) domestic driver’s license.
• Acknowledgements: You acknowledge the IDPA is not a government document, is not an IDP, does not grant legal driving privileges on its own, and must always be carried alongside your original domestic driver’s license.

5. Ordering, Pricing, and Payment

Prices are listed in US dollars (USD). Stripe automatically converts amounts to your local currency at checkout.

6. Accepted Payment Methods

• Credit and Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover (processed via Stripe).
• Digital Wallets: Apple Pay and Google Pay.
• Regional Payment Methods: Local options supported by Stripe (e.g., iDEAL, Bancontact, PIX).

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. under PCI DSS Level 1 compliance. International Automobile Agency / IDPA does not store payment card details on its servers.

7. Delivery Terms

• Digital Delivery: Delivered via email download link. Standard processing: 1–12 hours. VIP Processing: approximately 5–30 minutes. Digital support operates 24/7.
• Physical Delivery: Printed orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Standard Shipping takes 15–30 business days; Express Shipping takes 3–7 business days.
• Restrictions: We do not ship to restricted embargoed regions or PO Boxes/APO addresses.

8. Customer Obligations

You must provide accurate information, including clear photographs of your valid domestic driver’s license (front and back) and required identity details. You must not submit fraudulent documents, impersonate another individual, or abuse chargeback channels.

9. Manual Review and Order Validation

Every translation application is reviewed by our team before fulfillment. If uploaded documents are illegible or incomplete, we will request corrections via email. If a customer fails to provide valid documents within 7 calendar days, the order may be canceled and refunded.

10. Refund and Cancellation

Refund rights and guarantees are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable statutory consumer rights under applicable local laws (including EU/UK consumer withdrawal rights where applicable).

11. Intellectual Property

International Automobile Agency and IDPA retain all rights to the IDPA document design, layout, digital verification system, and website content. You retain rights to your personal identity documents and grant us a limited license to process them solely for order fulfillment and customer support.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Submit false, forged, or third-party identity documents.
• Use our translation documents for fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to misrepresent the IDPA as a government-issued license or official IDP.
• Initiate fraudulent chargebacks after receiving digital or physical delivery.

13. Warranties and Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in our policies, the service and translation documents are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Foreign authority or car rental acceptance is entirely at third-party discretion.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, International Automobile Agency’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the order. Neither party shall be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless International Automobile Agency, IDPA, their officers, employees, and agents from any third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the translation document, or submission of fraudulent information.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to mandatory local consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Disputes shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration or small-claims proceedings, preserving mandatory statutory rights.
